ABI History
1974
Establishment of ABI Vertriebsgesellschaft GmbH at Babenhausen.
1975
Introduction of the very first ABI MOBILRAM RE 7500. This new innovative machine concept turned out to be the future of ABI.
1979
Founding of ABI Maschinenfabrik and move from Babenhausen to Niedernberg with approx. 30 employees.
1985
Christian Heichel is joining ABI as trainee.
1988
Merging distribution and production to one location in Niedernberg.
1988
Merging distribution and production to one location in Niedernberg.
1993
The first In-house exhibition takes place.
2002
Mr. Matthias Heichel was announced as General Manager of DELMAG.
2003
Acquisition of product line and trade mark BANUT from Sweden. BANUT is producer of fixed leader masts and hydraulic impact hammers. Production moved from Sweden to Niedernberg.
2004
Introduction of new piling method "Directional vibrating" at BAUMA in Munich and being awarded for most innovative technology at the exhibition.
2008
ABI begins to produce own carriers for the DELMAG drilling rigs.
2009
Take over of the brand INTEROC and moving all activities to Niedernberg. At the in-house exhibition the whole product range of ABI Group is presented. As highlight the third vibrator generation MRZV-VV is shown in action.
2010
ABI Group presents the new MOBILRAM-System TM 22 as well as the DELMAG drilling rig RHV 40 on self produced carrier T121D at the bauma in Munich.
1995
The founder of ABI, Mr. Alfred Heichel, past away.
2000
Taking over company DELMAG in Esslingen, producer of drilling rigs and diesel pile hammers.
2010
ABI Group presents the new MOBILRAM-System TM 22 as well as the DELMAG drilling rig RHV 40 on self produced carrier T121D at the bauma in Munich.
2012
ABI invites to In-house exhibiton to Niedernberg. Besides a numerous new machines also the control system Efficiency Drive is introduced.
2013
In spring ABI presents the new MOBILRAM-System TM 17 and the new DELMAG drill rig RH 24 at the bauma in Munich.
ABI mourns the loss of Ingrid Heichel, founder of the company.
